CITY OF SAN
FERNANDO – Amidst the growing concern on dengue cases
in Pampanga, the provincial government had renewed commitment to provide free
medical attention to dengue patients confined in various district hospitals.
According to the Provincial Information Office
(PIO), the capitol is continuously doing its share in the campaign against
dengue.
Governor Lilia Pineda previously announced that
medical expenses by the dengue patients in the province will be shouldered by
the provincial government.
The PIO declared that Governor Pineda’s policy on
the matter remains in effect.
With this, Kapampangans who were inflicted with
dengue virus could still avail of health services from different district
hospitals free of charge.
The information office speaking in behalf of
Pineda, asked the people particularly those living in coastal communities to stay
supportive on anti dengue program being launched by their respective municipal
government.
Candaba Mayor Rene Maglanque last week also launched "Oplan Kalinisan, Kabalen Iwas Dengue” following
reports of increasing number of dengue cases in town.
This is aimed at heightening
the knowledge and awareness of the people on dengue disease and how it can be
prevented.
