CANDABA - The municipal government here has encouraged professional and ameteur photographers to participate in the photo contest as part of the upcoming 6th Ibon-Ebon (Bird-Egg Festival).
Leny Manalo, municipal administrator said professional photographers will be taking pictures on wild birds which must be shot in Candaba along between January 12 and 25.
Photo entries in soft copies must be save in CD or in USB and submitted to the Mayor's office. The same may also be sent through ibonebon2013@yahoo.com.ph - the official email address for the event.
For the hard copy of the photos, they should be mounted on 15" by 20" illustration board with a uniform margin on all sides for judging.
Each participating photographer is allowed to submit only one entry without any marking except the name of the bird alone.

Digital editing is not forbidden but strictly limited to adjustment in brightness, contrast, color saturation, sharpness, minor cloning, cropping to improve composition and moderate de-noising.
No alteration to the content of the original image is allowed by introducing an element not present in the original scene.
Top three professional photographers of best photos will be receiving P15,000, P10,000 and P5,000 respectively plus special gifts for all entries.
For amateur photographers, entry photos must feature any subject of interest showing Candaba's agriculture, eco tourism, heritage and sceneries.
The first three winning photographers will be receiving cash rewards of P10,000, P5,000, P3,000 respectively.
