MASANTOL - Former Vice Mayor Marcelo Lacap Jr. yesterday declared that his advocacy for the people shall
remain despite not having been elected in public office.
He said he would continue helping and serving the people in his private capacity.
Lacap,
also a civic leader representing the coastal communities in town added
that the result of the midterm elections will not prevent him from
doing his share for the
betterment of the people.
Meanwhile,
he assured the incoming administration of Mayor-elect Dan Guinto of
full support in all his programs and projects which he promised during
the campaign season.
"Tutulungan natin siya sa abot ng ating makakaya," he stated.
Lacap is Guinto's running mate under the administration's Liberal Party.
He
earlier disclosed that among the immediate concerns that had to be
addressed are problems on fishing industry, flooding, education, garbage
management, lack of education by the some children in the coastal
communities.
