CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - Candaba Mayor-elect Rene Maglanque yesterday had paid respect to Governor Lilia Pineda who successfully
sealed her second term as such after getting an overwhelming support from the Kapampangan last elections.

who run and won under the Liberal Party joined the governor and other
provincial officials in a flag raising ceremony held at the capitol
ground Monday.
He
was the first elected mayor in the province to visit
Pineda in the capitol as a gesture of respect and readiness to
cooperate with the latter's programs in so far as it may benefit the
people of Candaba.
Maglanque
claimed that cooperation between local officials both in the municipal
and provincial level is primary to achieve more tangible projects for
the people.
"Susuportahan natin ang mga programa ni Governor
Pineda lalu na at para sa ikabubuti ng ating mga kababayan dito sa
Candaba," he told Sun Star Pampanga in an interview.
The
newly-elected mayor believed that party affiliation is not an issue for
the local officials for as long as they stand in common ground aiming
to uplift the standard of living of the Kapampangan and providing
quality and best services for everyone.
He
said, he was assured by Governor Pineda of the continuing support from
the provincial government in terms of delivery of social services and
