Voters blame inaccurate master list for failing to vote

CANDABA -The voters here are complaining about the inefficiency of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to cleanse  the master lists making it more difficult for the registered voters to find their assigned precincts which resulted to unintended  failure to vote.

According to them, the Comelec failed to come up with accurate list of  voters despite of making the introduction of computerize system of registration and voting which started in 2010.

A voter here explained that some of the people who went to polling precincts early failed to vote as their names were not included in the mater list.

"Iyong tatay na si Eloi Guevarra Laxaman  na matagal ng patay, 1997 pa, pero nasa listahan parin siya ng Comelec hangga ngayon at pwedi pang bumoto kung buhay lamang siya tapos iyong iba na buhay pa ay hindi makakaboto dahil wala silang pangalan sa Comelec," a voter here noted.
