CANDABA - The municipal chief of staff here yesterday urged the Department Heads not to delay delivery of basic services to the
people.
Leny
Manalo in a meeting with various heads and employees in the municipal
government said that the current administration of Mayor Jerry Pelayo
has until June 30 to serve the Candabenios as duly elected mayor of this
town.
He said that the pending transition with the new mayor should not affect the services and
operation of the municipal government.
"Gusto
Candaba.
He
noted in the
coming days, he is expecting the transition team of Maglanque to work
with them to familiarize with the day to day operation, existing
programs, on-going projects and other functions to ensure smooth sail of
the new administration.
Aside from this, the transition team will also be briefed about the various properties, equipments, titles and the like.
However, the formal turn over of the same will be held after the new set of elected local officials were sworn into office.
