ANA - Liberal Party bet and mayoralty candidate Atty. Dennis Pangan
posted in his Facebook wall that all Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS)
machines installed in various schools here are working except those in
clustered precincts in San Nicolas here.
Pangan said that he and his family voted in one of the precincts with defective PCOS machine.
However, he added that the casting of votes continue and ballots will just be inserted to the after the machine was fixed.
With this, he immediately called the attention of the municipal election officer to address the problem in order to preserve the integrity of the outcome of elections.
Pangan also urged the residents to trust the system of automated elections, teachers who are working during elections and other concerned groups who wanted to ensure peaceful conduct of elections.
