CANDABA - Incoming Mayor Rene Maglanque had started mobilizing his quick response team in preparation to the upcoming rainy
season.
"Aware
tayo na pag upo natin ay tag ulan na. Kailangan ay lagi tayong handa sa
anumang pangyayari para matiyak natin ang kaligtasan ng ating mga
kababayan," he said.
Maglanque narrated that he grew up in this towns and he claimed that he knows exactly the main problem during rainy season.
"Ayaw
kasi natin na pag upo pa lamang natin tsaka natin bubuuin ang ating
quick response team dahil andyan na ang tag ulan," he added.
Maglanque
further stated that he is also planning to form quick response team in
every barangay who would be closely working with the mother unit in the
municipal level.
He
explained that the success of any disaster plan would depend on the
cooperation and participation of local government, barangay officials
including the affected residents and other stakeholders
