P1.2 billion infra projects
The provincial government has implemented almost P1.2-billion infrastructure projects within Governor Lilia G. Pineda’s stint as governor of Pampanga .
Provincial roads and bridges were upgraded and new buildings, dormitory and covered courts were constructed with a total amount of P607,249,339.59.
It has also managed to implement the construction, general renovation and repair of 1 provincial hospital, 9 district hospitals and one surgical hospital within her 2 years and 4 months in office with a total amount of P184.8 million.
The provincial government has also given the 21 municipalities an amount of P4-million each in 2010; P4-million each in 2011 and P5-million each in 2012 with a total development fund assistance of P273-million.
With the help of the DOH Center for Health and Development, the Capitol has constructed 2 birthing stations in Dr. Andres Luciano District Hospital in Magalang and Dr. Emigdio Cruz District Hospital in Arayat town.
