Kapampangan job seekers benefit on online registration

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Some 200 Kapampangan job seekers have benefited with the online registration at the Benigno Hall Capitol Compound the other day.

The online registration was spearheaded by the Philippine Overseas Employment and Administration (POEA) in coordination with the  Provincial Employment Services Office (PESO).

PESO Head Luningning Vergara said that job seekers who are planning to work in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Saudi Arabia were entertained.

She explained that POEA will screen the online applications and keep the same in the data banc  for immediate  job matching with potential foreign employers.

Vergara added after verifications on the qualifications of the applicants, it is upon the POEA to recommend depending on the requirements asked by the employers.

She stated that most of the online applicants were skilled workers which are currently in demand in highly industrialized and developing countries.

Vergara clarified that there is an on-going registration of the skilled workers in the province under the skilled registry system implemented early this year.

Meanwhile, she stressed that  online registration by the POEA is different due to the urgency of the needs to employ Kapampangan skilled workers.
