CANDABA - The political debate of the supporters of two mayoralty candidates here  had turned into a  heated argument as  they accidentally met in Barangay Gulap  the other night.

This came as supporters mayoralty bets Reynaldo "Busog" Sagum and Danilo "Boy" Baylon have disagreement on the political situation and  real score of the two based on surveys conducted by different groups.

"Muntik nang magpang abot ang mga tagasuporta ni Busog at Baylon dahil lang sa usapang pulitika. Mayroon pang tagaritong nagsabi na naglabas pa ng baril ang mga ito habang nagtatalo. Buti na lang naawat sila ng mga matatanda," a resident from Barangay Gulap, who requested not to be named  told Sun Star Pampanga.

Earlier surveys show that Baylon is leading leaving Sagum far fourth. However, as the elections get closer, some are claiming that Sagum has over taken Baylon.

Baylon's supporters did not like this that's why they got angry with Sagum's supporters. 

As this developed, concerned citizens here told them to remain cool and let the political season pass by peacefully. They said, whoever wins they still need to work to support their respective family.

"Huwag idaan sa init ng ulo ang election. Hayaan na lang natin na ang taong bayan ang humusga sa huli. Pagkatapos naman nito magtatrabaho pa rin ang lahat para sa kanilang mga pamilya," Andres Salcedo, a resident here stated.

The mayoralty race in this town is a four cornered fight which include Patrick Gerard "Kuya Pat" Pelayo, Rene Maglanque, Baylon and Sagum.
