APALIT - Pampanga Mayors' League President Jerry Pelayo has backed the candidacy of Kenneth Nunag who is now aspiring for a seat in the provincial board.
Nunag is a veteran public servant in this town who has been elected as a member of the Sangguniang Bayan for three consecutive terms.
Pelayo, speaking before the barangay officials and other organized groups in Candaba town publicly endorsed Board Member Ricardo Yabut and Nunag .
The mayor encouraged village chieftains to stand united behind Yabut and Nunag as they are bent on promoting the interest of the people in the fourth district in the province.
Meanwhile, Nunag, in a short interview stressed that should he be given the opportunity to serve the people, he would propose legislative measures that will institutionalize the provision of a comprehensive educational assistance to the poor but deserving students in the province.
