CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - Some commuters here bared that
"Laglag Barya" Gang is
operating in an intersection here victimizing individuals during rush hour.
They claimed that this group operates in the area despite
the fact that it is only few meters away from the nearest police station.
nilang balak," Melissa Torres, 21, a supermall worker noted.
Torres narrated that in one intance a mobile was parked
under the flyover with police personnel on board but still their presence has
not prevented the occurrence of the incident," she said.
Most of the time, ordinary workers earning on a daily basis except to some receiving
minimum wage s from the establishments located in the area are falling victims.
"This is something that can be prevented with proper
police intervention. They just have to do their job to secure the commuters
from this group," another commuter who requested not to be named told Sun
Star Pampanga.
