CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Provincial Manpower
Training Center (PMTC) yesterday offered free trainings and encouraged out of
school youth and other interested Kapampangan to avail of their programs being offered all through out the
province.

Maslog,officer-in-charge of PMTC explained that the trainings are classified
into conducted in-house and community-based trainings.
“Yung in-house po
training ay ginagawa natin karaniwan sa Bren Z. Guaio Convention Center
at iyon naman pong community based training natin mismo tayo ang nagpupunta sa
mga bara-barangay upang magturo ng kasanayan,” he said.
Maslog added that
trainings are being implemented with the help and in close coordination with the
Technical Education and Skills Training Administration (Tesda).
“Libre po ito. Wala pong
bayad ang training na ibinibigay natin sa ating mga kababayan,” he noted.
Since Governor Lilia
Pineda assume office in 2010, thousands of Kampangangans had already benefited
to the skills enhancement and training program.
Maslog assured
that the individuals who will undergo training with PMTC will acquire the
required competency enough for local and international employment.
Among training given by PMTC are computer
hardware servicing, consumer electronics, computer literacy, shielded metal arc
welding, automotive servicing technology, electrical installation and
maintenance, plumbing, Korean language proficiency training, furniture
upholstery, heavy equipment operation, hair dressing, wellness massage, small
engine servicing, and beauty care.
