STO.
TOMAS - Former Mayor Romeo “Ninong” Ronquillo has branded the alleged
"media propaganda" of incumbent Mayor Joselito Naguit as desperate move
and only designed to discredit him as the local elections get even
closer.
Naguit during media interview insinuated that the Ronquillos from this town, who happened to be his political opponents had something to do with the burning of his Ningnangan Restaurant in Pulilan Bulacan.
Recovered from the site were lighter and container believed to be used in the commission of arson.
The mayor said no other people would have interest on putting him down except his political nemesis.
With this, Ronquillo in an interview vehemently denied the accusation.
"Kalokohan yan. Wala na lamang siguro siyang alam sabihin kung kaya't isinasangkot niya ako sa sinasabi niyang insidente sa restaurant niya," he told Sun Star Pampanga,
More so, Ronquillo noted that as per his information, the said Ningnangan in Pulilan owned by Naguit is still operating.
"Paanong nasunog iyon eh business as usual sila. Baka ang sinasabi nilang nasunog ay iyong kusina ng restaurant," Ronquillo ended.
