CANDABA - Local folks here urged the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) and other organized groups in town to sponsor a candidate forum for the voters to fully screen the candidates.
According to them, this forum is needed before the electorates finally decide whom to vote defending on the qualifications and platform of government these candidates will present.
PPCRV is the citizen’s arm of the Catholic Church in the upcoming May 13 local and national elections.
As a national parish-based political but non-partisan lay movement established in 1991, the PPCRV has grown to earn the respect of both civil society and ecclesiastical bodies in its initiatives of transforming the electoral culture of the country.
It has been consistently working for Clean, honest and peaceful elections in the province.
