CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - A group of political observers here advised the voters not to give much weight on survey results as
the same were only commissioned to serve the interest of a particular candidate.
They said local survey results when publicized to some extent influence the public's voting preference.
"Marami
ang boto nila," Honorato Capili, a retired public school teacher and
political observer said.
Capili
explained that survey results do not reflect the real choice of the
people with the limited respondents asked during the process.
He also added
that in some instances questionnaires are tailored to favor a candidate or political party commissioning the survey.
"Halimbawa
bilang ng mga respondents to represent the general sentiment of the
electorates," one of the political observers but asked not to be named
pointed out.
As
this developed, these political observers told the voters to decide
based on credentials, capability, attitude and track records rather than
relying on the surveys.
