MINALIN- Incumbent Mayor Arturo Naguit yesterday asked former Mayor Edgar Flores to explain to the people his alleged involvement in the "fertilizer scam" involving at least P10-miliion.

Naguit said his political rival during his stint as the municipal mayor was able to implement a questionable project involving the purchase of fertilizer and other farm equipments.

"Noong siya pa ang mayor itanong mo sa kanya iyong fertilizer scam. Ang mga beneficiaries niya puro bogus  ibig sabihin hindi totoong napunta na sa kanila ang proyekto at mapapatunayan ko yan," he stated.

The mayor claimed that initially he has no plan to resort into this kind of politics, however, he was forced to speak about previous wrongdoings of Flores as the latter is  continuously engaging into black propaganda to 
discredit him before the electorates.

"Ganyan pala ang gusto nila.Isulat mo iyong tungkol sa fertilizer scam i front page mo para makita kung sino talaga ang nagsasabi ng totoo," Naguit noted.

With this, former Mayor Flores explained that Naguit is probably not aware of what he is talking about.

"Nananaginip na naman siya (referring to Naguit)," he said in a text message sent to this reporter.
