Elias Magat, 68, an elected Barangay Captain executed a sworn statement before the local police stating that on May 5 around eleven in the evening  incumbent Mayor Arturo Naguit has badmouth and issued unacceptable remarks which according to him is  tantamount to conduct unbecoming of a public official.

"Nanu atin gulo keni, anak puta kayo, mangulo kayo?," Magat stated in his affidavit.

The village chief noted that this incident happened in front of his house while having conversation with another barangay official involving the disagreement on political views of brothers Ponciano Garcia and Henry Garcia.

"Bigla na lang dumating itong si Mayor Arturo Naguit sakay ng kanyang sasakyan at kasama ang kanyang mga personal security na naka suot ng civilian at ng bumaba siya ay bigla kaming pinuntahan at sabay tinuro kami at sinabihan," Magat further stressed in the affidavit.

He added that after the confrontation, the mayor along with his security personnel immediately left.

Mayor Naguit, meanwhile, did not deny the allegation but further explained that Magat is engaging to vote buying activity favoring his opponent.

"Pakananung ali ku mimwa eh, manyali lang boto ampo malasing ya anyang oras a ita," he stated.

The mayor likewise pointed out the complaint of Magat cannot stand on its own as his lone witness certain councilor Sandy already withdrawn his statement.
