CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - A Manila based survey group yesterday bared that almost 98  percent of the mayoralty bets of Kapanalig at Kambilan neng Memalen Pampanga (Kambilan)  fielded in various municipalities and cities in the province are on their way to victory comes May 13 elections.

The survey was conducted from April 24 to May 7 with with more than 53-thousand respondents covering at least 5 percent of the Kapampangan voting population.

Among the leading Kambilan's mayoralty candidates are Marino Morales (Mabalacat City), Eddie Guerrero (Floridablanca), Ricardo Rivera (Guagua), Yolanda Pineda (Sta. Rita), Amelia Simbul (Sasmuan), Hilario Trinidad (Arayat), Alex Tumang (Mexico) Rommel Concepcion (Sta. Ana), Patrick Gerard Pelayo (Candaba), Paul Flores (Masantol), Arturo Naguit (Minalin), Venancio Macapagal (San Luis), Leonora Wong-Capule (San Simon), Joselito Naguit (Sto. Tomas), Edwin Santiago (City of San Fernando).

The survey shows  two digits difference which according to them is enough to seal the chances of getting fresh mandate after elections.

Kambilan's campaign has been successful as it was able to have unopposed candidates for the local chief executive positions including Mayors Jun Tetangco (Apalit), Condralito Dela Cruz (Porac), Annette Flores-Balgan (Macabebe) and Mylene  Pineda (Lubao)

However, it was noted that the remaining two percent based on the survey was still highly contested as competing candidates from the towns of Magalang and Bacolor had shown almost equal  strength and resources until the final stretch of the campaign trail.

With these results, Political observers in the province explained that the current political dominance of the candidates of Kambilan Party  merely reflected  the trust and confidence of the Kampangan to Governor Lilia Pineda being the party chairperson after she served them with full concern and responsibility during her first term.

"Gusto kasi ng tao na ang makakasama ni Nanay sa pamamahala sa bawat bayan ay iyong totoong kapagmalasakit niya upang lalu panng mai-deliver iyong serbisyo sa bawat mamamayan. Dito nakinabang ang mga Kambilan mayoralty candidates.  Kita naman natin sa resulta ng survey,"  Antonio Salve, a political observer here stated.

Salve further noted that Kambilan candidates benefited from the high approval rate of Governor Pineda.

Kambilan is a local political party for Kapampangan leaders who stand united in addressing the timely needs of the people.
