CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Fourth District Board Member Nestor “Bay” Tolentino the other day has spearheaded the distribution of financial grants to the scholars of provincial government.
He said that some 100 poor but deserving students coming from the eight municipalities in his district benefited from the activity.

Tolentino added that the provision of financial grants is part of the continuing effort of the provincial government to help students who wanted to finish education but having financial difficulties in pursuing their dreams.
He stated that the amount given could be used by the students in paying part of their tuition fees and other accountabilities in their respective schools and institutions.
Tolentino has been instrumental in the construction of several public school classrooms and covered court in the 4th district through a resolution filed before the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
This came as various public school administrators sought the assistance of Board Member Tolentino to bring to the attention of the provincial government the needs on facilities by the students.
