CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Nineteen towns in the province are set to showcase local products, foods and delicacies in a three day agro-industrial trade fair to be held at SM Pampanga starting on December 7.
This affair is hosted by the provincial government as part of the week-long celebration of the founding anniversary of the province.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Pampanga OIC Elenita Ordonio and Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Provincial Head Mary Michelle Quiambao along with the officials of the Provincial Government will be gracing the event.
The presence of DTI and DOST will assure the public-consumers that the products to be sold in the trade fair are of good quality.
Earlier, local officials from various municipalities joined the event organizers in a meeting in the provincial capitol which finalized the details of the trade fair.
Leny Manalo, municipal administrator, Candaba town told Sun Star Pampanga that local products like “burong asan,” vegetables, fruits locally planted among others will be made available in the fair.
He also invited Heprints Souvenirs to sell Candaba inspired items including customized T-shirts, key chains and mugs.
Herprints is a local business in town which produced “Ibon-Ebon Festival” souvenir T-shirts for the past three years. It also produced sports uniforms and T-shirts for INC Unity Games and in one university in Papua New Guinea.
