CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The leadership of the Provincial Legislative Department is eyeing the establishment of ‘Moka’ foundation to further help Kapampangans.
Vice Governor Joseller “Yeng” Guaio said that recipients of the “Most Outstanding Kapampangan Awards” could help a lot by the contributing their expertise and resources in reaching out those in greater need.
"Pag aaralan po natin ang pagtatatag ng Moka foundation sa susunod na taon para lalu po tayong makatulong sa ating mga kababayan," he stated.
Guiao is also the current chairman Moka Committee.
The vice governor explained that Moka awardees aside from giving honor to the province may this time be utilized in providing programs beneficial to the people in Pampanga.
This year's Moka awardees were Ma. Miguela Santiago (Outstanding Honorary Kapampangan), P/Supt. Bernardo Perez (Law Enforcement), Felix Tienzo (Social Service), Patrick Cura (Youth Service), Leonardo Canlas (Education), Norman De Jesus (Agriculture), Fr. Vic Nicdao (Religion), Lillian Borromeo (Culture), John Manalili (Mass Media), ALE Representative Catalina Bagasina (Government Service), Allan Pineda aka Apl.de.Ap (Arts) and Senator MannyVillar Jr. (Business and Entrepreneurship).
