CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - The provincial government has adapted a holistic approach of providing programs for the Kapampangans through its comprehensive and integrated delivery of social services.
Provincial Social Welfare Development (PSWD) Officer Elizabeth Baybayan said that the people upon the initiative of Governor Lilia Pineda are getting a full packaged of services in just one sitting.
This came Pineda bring with her the key department officials in the provincial government as she personally and constinously visit municipalities including remoted village to address the pressing needs of the people.
"Inilalapit ng kapitolyo ang serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan. Kung kailangan nila ng social services andyan kami. Kung puhunan nandi na rin ang Provincial Cooperative and Entrepreneurial Development Office (PCedo) sa tulong ni Mang Bert Gatus," she said.
Baybayan noted that the Pampanga Public Employment Services Office (PESO) and Provincial Manpower Training Center were also joining team in providing integrated services to the communities.
PESO has been providing career coaching to in-school, out-of-school youth particularly to the graduating high school students regarding their proper career choices in college.
The same is also engaged in facilitating registration of skilled workers in the province for possible job matching.
PMTC is conducting in-house and community-based training for free in different municipalities in partnership with Technical Education and Skills Training Administration.
PCedo, on the other hand, pushed for countryside development by empowering small business owners through financial assistance to qualified organized groups.
