On kidnap for ransom involvement: Liberal party bet faces criminal case


CANDABA - Liberal Party bet here is now facing a criminal case for his alleged involvement in the kidnap for  ransom activity in Baliuag Bulacan.

Randy Turla, a resident from Barangay Mapanique, currently seeking for an elective position in the Sangguniang Bayan under the administration party was identified by the authorities as one of the abductors of Emerson Magadia. 

Magadia is a trader, resident of Barangay Sapang Putik, San Ildefonso town in Bulacan and was kidnapped sometime in February 14 this year. 

Based on the police report, Turla is allegedly a member of kidnap-for-randog gang along with Azenith Briones, 32, Richardo Hovilla Jr., 23,both are residents of Barangay Subic in Baliuag Bulacan, Manuel Atencio, 46, of Barangay Pescadores here, Raymond Inano, resident of Barangay Pala Pala San Ildefonso Bulacan, Guilbert Tambot and certain Dencio 'aka' Jay of Barangay Mapanique Candaba.

Briones, Hovilla, Atencio were formally charged before the office of the prosecutor following their arrest effected by Bulacan police in two separate operations conducted in Barangay Sapang Putik and Barangay Subic. 

Reports have it that the victim's family provided the suspects at least P12-million in exchange of Magadia's liberty.

Recovered the suspects' possession during the arrest  were caliber .45 pistol, bullets, two sachets of shabu and other personal belongings of the victim.
