APALIT - The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) yesterday noted that power connection will be interrupted today in several municipalities in the fourth district under Pampanga III Electric Cooperative, Inc. (PELCO III).
NGCP served notice of the scheduled shutdown of transmission facilities of PELCO III in parts of Pao, Apalit and Macabebe Substations.
The power connection will be interrupted from eight in the morning up to five in the afternoon Saturday.
This is due to the upgrading of Mexico Substation and other related devices and simultaneously conduct maintenance activities along Mexico-PIMU 69kV line.
Among the affected municipalities were San Simon, Minalin, Sto. Tomas, Apalit, Macabebe and Masantol.
NGCP assured that normal operations will immediately resume after work completion.
As this developed, the customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled interruption.
