CANDABA – Vice President Jejomar “Jojo” Binay the other day reiterated his all out support to Mayor Jerry Pelayo’s congressional bid.
This came as Binay joined the Sangguniang Kabataan officials in the 4th district in a simple gathering held in a private resort in Barangay Lanang this town.
He told the young leaders to rally behind Pelayo’s advocacy for genuine development centered on the needs of the people in the 4th district.
The vice president opined that with the mayor in congress, the people will be properly represented in terms of legislative measures that will uplift the people’s standard of living.
Binay, in a previous visit here, told Sun Star Pampanga that Pelayo has been instrumental in putting Candaba town into world map particularly on environment conservation and bird protection.
He also recognized the initiatives of Mayor Pelayo whom he called a personal friend in transforming the town into a productive community.
Binay stated that he wanted to be with Pelayo for he is known and tested for his loyalty.
Aside from this, the vice president also backed the mayoralty bid of Patrick Gerald “:Kuya Pat” Pelayo.
