Police Chief
Inspector Onnil Dela Pena indentified the suspect as Joselito “Toto” Miranda,
37, resident of Barangay Buas here.
Initial investigation
disclosed that on or about 7:30 am of September 14, the local police led by
Senior Police Office 1 Leonardo Sombillo, acting acting upon the instruction of
the chief of police conducted a manhunt operation within the vicinity of Sitio
Champaka, Barangay Tayuman, Binangonan, Rizal .
The operation was made
in coordination with the police in Rizal which later on resulted to the arrest
of the suspect.
It was learned that
Miranda has a pending warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court , Brach
47 Judge Edgar Chua issued sometime in November 11, 2005 for murder case with
no bail recommended.
The suspect was
brought to the police station for booking and documentation prior to the
delivery to the court of origin.
