MASANTOL – Former Mayor Peter Flores lashed back Mayor Dan
Guintu’s allegation that he left the mayor's office empty with furniture and fixtures.
Flores vehemently denied the statement of the new mayor saying
that he only bring with him personal things and documents including picture
frames.
“Wala pong katotohanan na dinala ko lahat ng gamit sa
opisina. Ang dinala ko lang ay mga personal na gamit,” he said.
The former mayor explained that before the end of his last
term, he only go to the municipality to sign documents and attend meeting with
the department heads to settle remaining obligations.
“Siguro yung ibang gamit ay kinuha ng ibang department at
wala akong kinalaman doon,” Flores stressed.
He
advised the mayor to check first the same from various department
offices before jumping into conclusion that he took them away as he left
the office.
“Kung wala talagang gamit bakit hindi muna abonohan para
bumili nito. Akala ko ba mayaman sila?,” Flores asked.
