CITY OF SAN FERNANDO–
Senator Grace Poe-Llamanzares the other day expressed support on the proposed completion
of the construction of Baliuag-Candaba-Sta. Ana road.
Llamanzares said that
she would personally asked Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)
Secretary Rogelio Singson to consider the project as among the infrastructure
priority projects.
Aside from this, the
lady senator also promised to recommend the same to President Benigno Aquino
III to be included in the budget deliberation for 2014 fiscal year.
Llamanzares made this
statement in a simple gathering previously attended by the newly elected
officials in Candaba town and residents.
“Ang unang pinuntahan
ko pag upo ko sa senado ay Candaba dahil malapit ito sa puso ko at taga rito po ang aking mga kamag anak ang mga Gatbonton,”
she noted.
Earlier, DPWH officials
briefed the senator about the viability of the proposed project.
