SAN SIMON - The provincial government disclosed that another community hospital is set to be constructed in Barangay Santo Niño
this town.
The community hospital project will be realized through private and public partnership.
This
came as a reputable local business man - Don Pangan donated a parcel
of lot in the said barangay consisting of at least one hectare in favor
of the concerned local government unit subject to the condition that
the
same will be utilized for the establishment of a community hospital.
With
this, Governor Lilia Pineda in a recent visit in town manifested her
full support to proposed undertaking which is expected to benefit
thousands of residents coming from the 14 barangays here.
Aside from the
Simonians, the
proposed hospital could also cater the medical needs of the residents in
the neighboring towns of Apalit, Sto. Tomas and San L:uis among others.
Pineda
said that she would work hard with the provincial legislative body to
ensure the allocation of specific funds during budget deliberations to
finance the construction of the community hospital.
