Police recovers stolen motorcycles

ARAYAT – The local police here recently recovered a stolen motorcycle and three others at Purok 4, Campo Venzon, Barangay Mangga-Cacutud this town.
 
Superintendent Charlie Cabradilla, town’s chief of police stated they received an information that a stolen motorcycle in Mexico was sighted in a junk shop in the said Barangay.
 
Cresencio Punzalan, 57, resident of Camino 1, Barangay Sto. Rosario, Mexico lost his Suzuki motorcycle while parked in a public market.
 
Cabradilla said they immediately conducted an operation and chanced upon the subject motorcycle unit was placed within the  premises of the house of  certain Josephine Canlas together with several other units of motorcycles without proper documents.
 
Canlas divulged during investigation that the stolen motorcycle was entrusted to her by  Roberto Due,  37, owner of ROB Junkshop and a resident of Purok 5, Barangay San Nicolas here.
 
Meanwhile, Due claimed that the same was sold to him by   certain  Christopher residing at Barangay  in the amount of P1,400.
 
The subject stolen motorcycle together with three others which were encumbered to SYM company  were also recovered.
 
The recovered motorcycles were Suzuki X-3 100, Mitsukoshi Wolf 125, Mitsukoshi Bonus X motorcycle and  SYM 100 CC motorcycle.
 
Investigation further disclosed that the two motorcycles were pawned by Jesus Galang, 31, a resident of San Nicolas, Sta. Ana town who happened to be the  branch manager of SYM located at Barangay Mesulo this in the amount P20, 000.
 
These motorcycles were pawned  without the knowledge of the registered owner and the Company (SYM),
 
The other one  was pawned by Rogel Espino, resident of Barangay Mangga-cacutud, Arayat, Pampanga in the amount of P8,000.
